The Structure of Elders Online

"What do you mean by an 'Online Gaming Guild'?"

By far the most popular question by those interested in knowing more out Elders Online! Here is how we describe an "Online Gaming Guild."

Online Gaming Guild:

A group of like-minded Internet gamers gathered to enjoy one another's company, while adventuring through the multitude of interactive games now available for play over the Internet.

"...Why on earth would I want to join a group, when I can find gamers to play with on my own?!'"

Glad you asked. :) Here are just a few reasons why many of our members have joined our ranks:

Screened Membership:

If you have been playing online games for more than a few days, you have undoubtedly met a few less than worthy gaming companions. Those that consider it their responsibility to lessen your gaming experience with cheating, personal attacks, foul language, as well as anything else they can think up during game play or chat.

We have combined a traditional guild organizational structure, to nurture the relationships of our members, with an online gaming center, complete with over 60 online games to play!

Organized Games and Events:

Elders Online now offers weekly gaming ladders, for those of you that enjoy the heat of competition! Singles, doubles, and team events! Its all done in good fun, so even our losers are winners.

Every weekend, our guild offers organized gaming events! We take the most popular Internet games, and design campaigns and competitions around them!

Our Campaigns are designed for those that prefer the non-competitive nature of adventuring with your companions.

"...Well then, you expect me to bow down and worship the creator of the guild, is that it?'"

Paying homage to the guild creator is strictly optional. ;) As any functioning democratic organization, our guild is organized by its membership. As such, governing bodies have been created, and members are elected to offices that they have chosen to run for.
